The Rebirth of a Phoenix: A Poetry Collection

The Rebirth of a Phoenix is the fiery debut collection of deeply personal and self-reflective storytelling by Destinee Shipley. Through poetry, journaling, and text conversations, Destinee tells the true story of a young Black college student who shows her journey through innocence, to despair, to finding her voice once more. With the metamorphosis of a phoenix as her anchor, this is a story of growth and self-love found through the storm.
