Our Story

Won’t Believe It’s Vegan began as a recipe club companion to a nutritional workplace wellness challenge. To increase the total number of fruits and vegetables consumed each day, Scribes & Vibes introduced the 21-Day Fruits & Veggies Challenge as a 3-tier approach towards healthier eating habits.

Teetering on the brink of a cookbook club and food culture podcast, the Vegeculture inspired peer challenge included a plant-based recipe exchange, pescatarian cheat days, and vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurant recommendations. As our veganish lunch club went out on the hunt for phenomenal flexitarian findings, the phrase “I can’t believe this is vegan!” began to resound among members and serve as a rallying call to share our “You won't believe it’s vegan” discoveries with the public — and this is how it all vegan!
