Born into severe racial tensions, gentrification, violence and drugs- like today's times. Shyronn had a lot to deal with in her early years. Not wanting to add unplanned pregnancies and STD's to the list, she abstained from sex until the age of 18. Losing her virginity, then discovering she contracted HIV at the age of 22, caused hurt throughout her life.
